Background Objective

This two-day training programme aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of automotive safety, including current safety trends, regulatory requirements, and vehicle safety assessment protocols.
The programme covers key topics such as crash test dummies, pedestrian safety, vehicle interiors, environmental testing, restraint systems, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), sled testing, Bharat NCAP (AIS 197), airbag control unit validation, and electric vehicle (EV) safety in crash scenarios. Through expert lectures and guided visits to ARAI’s Sled Laboratory and Automotive Crash Test Facilities, participants will gain practical insights into vehicle crash testing, safety validation, and certification processes, enabling them to better understand the latest technologies and best practices in automotive safety evaluation.
