Enriched by its more than 5 decades of vast service experience,and as outcome of variety of R&D projects and studies conducted, ARAI has developed indigenous automotive technologies, products, test rigs, testing solutions; and has compiled India specific databases that are very inputs for the automotive product development.
Technologies
To further boost technology development and innovation, recently ARAI has formed a dedicated Technology Group working on futuristic indigenous technologies to enable safe, sustainable and smart mobility solutions. The present Technology Program is focused around the 6 areas,namely, Intelligent Vehicle Controls, Energy Management System,Green Mobility, Intelligent Vehicle Technologies, Battery Management and Light Weighting. Dedicated as well as Cross Functional Teams are engaged in this technology development program. As required ARAI collaborates with outside technologists or organization for co-development or building further on their technologies. ARAI also facilitates technology transfers through public campaign as well as customized B2B workshops.
