To keep itself at the forefront of technologies, ARAI continuously upgrades its facilities. Major expansion and up gradation was carried out under National Automotive Testing, R&D and Infrastructural Project (NATRiP) at ARAI-HTC in the areas of Passive Safety, Powertrain, Fatigue & Material and Transmission and Gear Testing. ARAI is also establishing a comprehensive infrastructure and facilities for testing, certification and development of the electric and hybrid vehicles under the FAME scheme of GoI at its E-Mobility Centre of Excellence.
