The office-cum-vehicle evaluation workplace in Indore will facilitate speeding up all Homologation process for automotive industry

India, April 07, 2025: The Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), India’s premier mobility research, testing and certification organization under the aegis of Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India has inaugurated an office-cum-vehicle testing workplace at NATRAX, Indore by Dr Reji Mathai, Director, ARAI, in presence of Shri. Abdul Jabbar Akbar Badusha, Senior Deputy Director & Head of Vehicle Evaluation Laboratory along with senior colleagues and customer delegation. With the growing requirements of the ever evolving Indian auto industry, ARAI established the facility for carrying out all the advanced vehicle dynamics testing and evaluation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) among other tests. 

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Reji Mathai said, “The Indian mobility sector is continuously evolving with disruptive technologies and hence, requires uninterrupted collaboration between stakeholders. We are pleased to announce a new initiative, ARAI- Vehicle Evaluation Lab Workplace, which will provide our specially curated service portfolio through our presence at NATRAX facility, Indore. This initiative will help us in realising our full potential and catalyse our support to the manufacturers for their certification & Homologation, and testing & validation needs connected with all aspects of Vehicle Dynamics.” 

The ARAI- Vehicle Evaluation Lab Workplace, will cater for the mobility sector- Vehicle Manufacturers, Vehicular System Manufacturers and Tyre Manufacturers from across the country.
