A Landmark Moment for India’s Green Mobility Future!
A Joint Development Agreement (JDA) was signed between Pune Hydrogen Valley (PHVF), Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI),
VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (VECV), and Honda (Japan & India) to jointly develop India’s first advanced Hydrogen Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC) Electric Bus under the prestigious Pune Hydrogen Valley Innovation Cluster (P-HVIC).
P-HVIC is one of the four Hydrogen Valleys approved under the National Green Hydrogen Mission by the
Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE),
Government of India. P-HVIC is the flagship real life demonstration project aimed for demonstration of developed indigenous technologies viz. Green Hydrogen Production, storage, dispensing, H2 Fuel Cell based Electric and H2 ICE based Powertrains for Heavy Duty Applications.
This agreement unites industry, research, and innovation to accelerate zero-emission heavy-duty transport powered by green hydrogen fuel cell technology — a major leap toward sustainable mobility and energy independence.
The JDA was signed in the presence of:
