As ARAI celebrates its remarkable Diamond Jubilee year, we took a nostalgic journey back to our roots with a special gathering dedicated to our superannuated colleagues—the visionaries who helped shape our institution over the past six decades.

The morning was filled with reminiscence, gratitude, and inspiring conversations as we welcomed former Directors Mr. Balraj Bhanot, Mr. Shrikant Marathe, and Mrs. Rashmi Urdhwareshe. Their reflections on ARAI's evolution, industry transformations, and technological milestones reminded us of the resilience and excellence that define our legacy.

Addressing the gathering, the present Director Dr. Reji Mathai highlighted the enduring connection between ARAI's founding values and its future aspirations. A tour of our modern facilities showcased how the foundations laid by our veterans have flourished into world-class centres of automotive research and innovation.

A memorable highlight of the celebration was the planting of saplings by the four Directors—symbolizing growth, sustainability, and our shared commitment to a stronger future.

We were also proud to recognize employees completing 25 years of dedicated service. Their commitment serves as a bridge between ARAI's rich heritage and the opportunities that lie ahead.
