Background Objective
This two-day training programme aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of automotive safety, including current safety trends, regulatory requirements, and vehicle safety assessment protocols.
The programme covers key topics such as crash test dummies, pedestrian safety, vehicle interiors, environmental testing, restraint systems, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), sled testing, Bharat NCAP (AIS 197), airbag control unit validation, and electric vehicle (EV) safety in crash scenarios. Through expert lectures and guided visits to ARAI’s Sled Laboratory and Automotive Crash Test Facilities, participants will gain practical insights into vehicle crash testing, safety validation, and certification processes, enabling them to better understand the latest technologies and best practices in automotive safety evaluation.
2-Day Certificate Programme on “Thermal Management of EV Batteries”
Background Objective
As electric vehicle technology continues to evolve, effective battery thermal management
has become essential for improving battery performance, safety, reliability, and lifespan. This program on “Thermal Management of EV Batteries” provides a comprehensive overview of battery thermal management systems (BTMS), covering battery technology, thermal runaway, battery pack thermal design, simulation-driven development, and advanced cooling solutions. Participants will explore active, passive, liquid, and hybrid cooling techniques, along with emerging thermal management materials for next-generation EV battery packs. The program is further enriched with live demonstrations using ARAI-developed BMS Trainer Kits and Electric 4W Battery Packs, followed by a guided visit to the ARAI COE Green Mobility – Advanced Battery Testing Laboratory. Designed for engineers, researchers, academicians, and industry professionals, this program delivers practical knowledge and hands-on exposure to modern thermal management technologies for electric vehicle batteries.
