Transition to ICEGATE for NOC Applications
The Government of India, under the SWIFT (Single Window Interface for Facilitating Trade) initiative, has introduced a comprehensive digital platform to streamline and integrate the EXIM supply chain.
In line with this initiative, the process for obtaining ARAI No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for customs clearance has now transitioned to an online mode via ICEGATE.
Key Changes:
- Applications must be submitted exclusively through ICEGATE (Indian Customs Electronic Gateway).
- Manual submission of NOC applications will no longer be accepted.
- NOCs will be processed and issued electronically.
Who Should Apply:
- Importers requiring ARAI NOC for customs clearance of vehicles, components, or related items.
