ARAI Introduces PEMS Pro-Cart for BSVI & CEV Stage V Testing
ARAI today inaugurated India’s first-of-its-kind remote work station for Portable Emissions
Measurement System (PEMS) testing – The PEMS Pro-Cart.
The PEMS Pro-Cart is designed to ensure safe and efficient transportation of the PEMS system
to the test site. Its integrated workstation offers a dedicated space for real-time monitoring
and data analysis.
Considering the rise in requirement for testing as per Automotive BSVI and upcoming non-road
CEV/TREM stage V norm, Heavy duty ISC (In-Service Conformity) and non-road ISM (In-Service Monitoring)
testing needs to be carried out at different locations/Test Sites across India. Hence, this portable
facility will enable us to run Real Drive Emission (RDE) tests on field such as mines, construction
sites, farms for Non-Road applications along the route developed across India.
