ARAI Hands Over CPCB IV+ Crown to Kirloskar’s Game-Changing Biogas Engines
ARAI is pleased to announce the successful evaluation of biogas engines developed by
Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited for power generation applications, the engines have successfully
met CPCB IV+ emission targets.
Dr. Reji Mathai, Director of ARAI, presented the development evaluation report to
Dr. Yogesh Aghav, VP of Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited, in the presence of
Dr. Sukrut Thipse, Sr. Dy. Director of ARAI, and the respective teams from both organizations.
Biogas-based power generation is crucial for converting organic waste into green energy
and organic fertilizer and such innovations are a testament to India’s commitment
towards sustainability.
