दि ऑटोमोटिव्ह रिसर्च असोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया (ARAI) ची स्थापना १९६६ मध्ये झाली असून ती देशातील अग्रगण्य ऑटोमोटिव्ह R&D संस्था आहे. ही संस्था ऑटोमोटिव्ह उद्योगाने भारत सरकारच्या सहयोगाने स्थापन केली आहे. ARAI ही भारत सरकारच्या जड उद्योग मंत्रालयाशी संलग्न एक स्वायत्त संस्था आहे
