  Engineer / Deputy Manager (Electrical Engg) – Energy Services Apply Now

Job Description:

Develop energy conservation projects through on-site auditing, engineering analysis, understanding of energy/electro-mechanically systems, and thorough communication and fact-finding.  Conservation projects include all aspects of utility conservation: Electrical, lighting, power systems, controls and water conservation.  Assist with development and implementation of design/build projects, including building modelling and recommendations for Electrical/energy system design.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:

§  Excellent Communication, Documentation and Presentation skills.

§  Fluency in Language(English/Hindi/Marathi)

§  Applying for state Level energy conservations Awards((MEDA) and equivalent such competition

§   NBC, IGBC, Green Energy, solar, wind energy application in project design.

§  Work directly with Energy Services team in the development, procurement and execution of conservation projects

§  Lead the development of energy conservation project scope and proposal development

§  Perform and supervise preliminary and detailed facility audits to identify conservation opportunities

§  Identify and recommend specific conservation measures for existing facilities

§  Apply building energy modeling programs to develop building load & energy models

§  Work with design/build engineering team to develop LEED certification through application of modeling programs

§  Estimate and document energy & operational savings opportunities

§  Work with Project Managers & Estimating team to develop project cost estimates

§  Develop and document design concepts for project proposals

§  Assist in development of project measurement & verification plans

§  Work directly with project managers and measurement & verification specialists to confirm estimated energy savings requirements

§  Coordinate with utilities to obtain incentives & rebates

§  Identify project risks and work with project team members to mitigate

§  Review contract drawings, detail drawings and specifications

§  Assist in proposal development, bid process and the procurement of new work

§  Provide proactive, clear and timely communication to team members

§  Develop and maintain client relations

Education and/or Experience:

§  A minimum of five years’ experience as an energy engineer preferred

§  Engineering degree desired (Electrical )

§  BEE Professional Engineer (EM & EU)


Supervisory Responsibilities:

§  May be required to supervise project development team.
