Data on
driving pattern have been collected
from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai
and Kolkatta and separate Driving
Cycles were formulated for these
four metro cities. The formulation
of the Driving cycle aids in
simulating city driving pattern
on chassis dynamometer
to optimize
the engine and transmission.

| Noise
data collection |
We carried out extensive
data collection of noise of
inuse vehicles. The data so
collected has helped to compare
our vehicles vis-à-vis
imported vehicles. The data
has also been passed on to
Central Pollution Control
Board (CPCB) for framing of
new noise limits. This data
will also help in setting
up infrastructure design &
development facilities for
noise testing.
