The scheme was highly appreciated by the staff and the response is overwhelming. After thorough screening, the candidates were interviewed by a Board, including outside experts.

The candidates were assessed for different parameters and the committee opined that even though 23 candidates, out of 40 secured above 60% marks, they need to Refresh their Mathematics and English. Accordingly, a pre-course training in English and Mathematics was given to selected candidates for 6 months. Finally, on completion of pre-course training, 19 candidates have been selected to undergo this programme of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering under accreditation of Tilak Maharashtra University (TMU), Pune. The course runs 4 days a week from 1700hrs to 2000hrs at ARAI by TMU staff.

Students also complete term work/assignments/examinations as per regular practice of University. The Feedback from the students is excellent and we do hope that completing this Diploma programme will be major breakthrough in their professional life. Also, feedback from TMU faculties is positive regarding the academic progress of students and sometimes very positive in terms of quality of term work (accuracy, neatness, sincerity, dedication, etc).
