Durability Evaluation
From an in-lab perspective, SDL is home to a state-of-the-art durability lab with additional facility of multiaxis simulation.SDL has recently performed durability evaluation of chassis using 24 axis simulation. Test options range from full scale approaches utilizing a Proving Grounds, Roads to in-lab solutions in which test durations are reduced to only include damaging content.

Fatigue solutions
SDL provides end to end fatigue solutions to component manufacturers in automotive industry. ARAI has recently installed High Frequency Resonance Test Machine (pulsator). This machine is useful for testing of high stiffness components such as connecting rod, crankshaft, bolts, brackets, gear teeth, knuckle etc. With the introduction of this machine, the test duration can be reduced significantly since test frequency of machine can go as high as 100 Hz depending on the stiffness of the test component.

Data acquisition and analysis
From last many years SDL is undertaking many projects for vehicle evaluation using data acquisition and analysis technique. Complete vehicle behavior is studied for the vehicles ranging from LCV to HCV and from tractors to Excavators.SDL has many analysis tools and softwares to evaluate vehicle for study and evaluation of
